I would like to submit my resume in response to your advertisement on Craigslist.org requesting a new Sales Manager. As a formally trained, educated and experienced salesman, I am perfect for this position.

I have 20 years' experience in sales, the last 10 of which have been in field of pharmacy. I am outgoing, friendly and engaging with clients. More than anything else, I am passionate about sales and knowledgeable about pharmaceuticals. However, those are not the reasons that I am perfect for this position.

The reason that I am perfect for this position is that I get results. In sales, results are really all that matter. In the past two decades, I have put my talents and personality to good use, resulting in a steady increase in revenue and a substantial expansion of our customer base. Some of my achievements at ABC Pharmaceutical Company include:

• Named Top Salesperson on numerous occasions, and continuously from Aug-Jan 2010.
• Increased customer base by 15% in 2011 through a self-implemented system of lead generation.
• Expanded revenue by more than a million dollars over the course of five years with aggressive marketing and sales tactics.
• Awarded for team leadership skills in 2005, 2009 and 2012.

I am used to working in groups and leading teams in order to generate more business and revenue. I have a strong skill set and a drive to achieve my goals. In these ways and more I believe that I would be a great asset to your company.
