As you have probably heard in the news, the Anytown High School sports program is facing massive cuts next school year. The school board has already approved 25 percent across-the-board cuts, which will leave teams virtually unable to travel and compete on the road next year. Also, the coaching staff is being cut dramatically.
I hope that you will join other business leaders in the community in supporting our young men and women as they engage in team sports, a wholesome pursuit that has also been a point of Anytown pride for generations.
The Booster Club is hosting a fundraising dinner and auction the evening of July 15. We welcome donations of any amount or value, including products and services that can be auctioned off. We also hope you will consider attending the dinner. If you choose to sponsor a table, at a cost of $500, your business logo will appear on all team sports programs during the 2008-09 school year. We are also seeking 12 Gold-level sponsors who, for a donation of at least $2,000, will receive banner advertising space on the walls surrounding the track and football stadium. Enclosed are further deals about our sponsorship opportunities.
